Ordering Process
 
All orders are required to be placed via our online store. Posterworld does not accept telephone or fax orders. This avoids any confusion as to what item is being ordered, where it is to be despatched and how payment is being made. You will also receive an immediate email confirmation of your order with your own unique Order number.
 
By clicking on the 'Add to cart' button, your selection will be placed into your shopping cart, which you may view at any time whilst you are shopping by clicking on 'View Cart'.
 
Laminating, Shirt Sizes and Postage Delivery Method (Regular or Express) may be selected or changed in that area.
 
Additionally, you can increase or decrease quantities, empty your cart, remove individual items or proceed to the Checkout area once happy with your selections.
 
Please note that saving your cart to your favourites to re-visit at a later date is not recommended as the items you will have listed may have sold out during that period and no longer be available. 
 
Our website is updated daily and throughout the day and is usually completed by 6pm. AEST (Australian Eastern Standard time). 
 
 
Availability of Posters
 
We closely maintain stock availability, so that whatever you see online with an 'Add to Cart'  button is currently in stock and available for despatch barring exceptional circumstances.
 
Our own Customer feedback confirms our belief that NO OTHER poster retailers can genuinely lay claim to that fact despite their assurances. By the time some other businesses are trying to find the poster you ordered because they don't have it in stock, or contact you to admit they don't actually have it in stock, most Posterworld customers would have already received their order.
 
Unlike some other poster retailers, we will NOT accept your order and then go and source the poster or print therefore delaying despatch. In the unlikely event that an item is out of stock (due to your order being placed before the website has been updated for the day) we will contact you immediately by either telephone or email.
 
Please note that Posterworld is unable to guarantee the quantity or multiples for orders of items when purchasing as this is entirely dependent on available stock.
 
If you have ordered multiples of a particular poster, we will supply and despatch what quantity is available at that time.
 
Whilst we place regular weekly orders, the posters are supplied by many different distributors and arrive in store at varying times. We are unable to advise precisely when a poster may be back in stock as we literally don't know if we are going to receive it until the stock has been unpacked and catalogued. Many items may not be received from one distributor so are then ordered with another thereby causing further delays.
 
Some posters are received in a few days while others can take up to several months to be received in.
 
We regret that due to the sheer volume of posters going in and out of stock every day, we cannot advise customers of when individual posters have been received back into stock.
 
Once a poster has been received back into stock the Temporarily Out Of Stock notification will be removed and the item will be made available to purchase for any customer.
 
To reorder previous items, you can use the My Favourites list function in your customer log in area to save favourite items. This area is for registered past customers to use, so any items that you are waiting on can also be added onto this list for ease of revisiting later to check on its availability.
  
 
 
Postage Costs/Despatch
 
Postage and Packing costs for all personal poster or t-shirt orders within Australia despatched via regular Australia Post, is $7.00 irrespective of the amount of items ordered, posters laminated or otherwise. Other postage options are shown in the table below.
 
You have the choice of Regular Post or Express Post and this can be selected by clicking on 'View Cart' and selecting whatever service you prefer in the Drop down menu.
 
All poster orders are sent in a rigid cardboard poster tube, capped and taped at both ends plus packaged internally to ensure protection of your posters. T-shirts and badges will be packaged and despatched in individual padded bags.
 
Please note that Posterworld cannot be held responsible if you advise an incorrect or incomplete mailing address.
 
How Long Will It Take?
 
 
If your order is placed before 12.30pm AEST Monday to Friday, your order will usually be despatched by us via Australia Post on the SAME DAY.
 
Orders received over the weekend or after 12.30pm each Friday will be sent the next business day Australia Post re-opens, generally the following Monday.
 
Naturally there may be Regional or National Holidays that could effect despatch times and they have to be taken into consideration.

Australia Post provides the following table as a guideline only for regular parcel postage and timings are based on reasonable expectations and experience. For more detailed information, please confirm with your local post office. Despatches are made from Post Code 4216.

Lost, Missing or Damaged Parcels
 
 
 
Whilst it is rare for parcels to be lost or go missing, there are occasions when this may happen. Your first port of call should be to check with your local Post Office to see if they are holding your parcel for collection. As the postal tubes are too large for the average letter box, Australia Post will generally hold your order for collection at your nearest Australia Post outlet but may sometimes forget to leave letter box notification that they have done this.
 
If the parcel is unable to be located then we will initiate a formal Australia Post search which can take up to 10 working days to be completed.
 
If your parcel is still not located, then replacement items or a refund will be issued to you. Any items that have been signed for by a receiver under our Receipted Delivery option are not classed as lost or missing parcels. A copy of the recipients signature can be supplied at a cost of $8.00 which is payable to Australia Post.
 
Please note that insufficient address information such as not completing a business or company name in the address details are not covered by this policy and will be the cutomers responsibility entirely. This also applies to incorrectly supplied addressee information.
 
Damaged parcels will be replaced by Posterworld, however, photographs of the damage must be sent to Posterworld and approval for a replacement or refund service received firstly.
 
If you have opted for a safe drop service, then Posterworld is unable to provide compensation for lost or damaged parcels.
 
 
 
Payment Options
 
Online ordering is via Credit Card or Visa/Mastercard Debit Card to your account. We accept Amex, Visa and Visa Debit Card plus Mastercard and Mastercard Debitcard. This also includes the Prepaid Cards available through Mastercard and Visa including Visa or Mastercard Gift Cards.
 
Please feel confident in using our Secure online ordering system via e-Path which is fully encrypted and protected against fraudulent activities so that you are protected at all times. No financial details are retained by us following completion of the transaction.

Additionally, Direct Credits to our Bank account via Internet banking are also acceptable for Australian Orders only. Our account details appear in the Checkout section when you opt for Direct Credit payment.
 
We do NOT accept personal or company cheques in payment for any order. Any of these items that are received will be returned to you, delaying despatch of your order.
 
Please note that should we have not received your Direct Credit 14 days from the date of your order, we will accept that your order is no longer required and will cancel your order accordingly.
 
For Overseas orders, please note that Credit Card or Paypal are the only available methods of payment. Postage costs as listed in this section below will be manually added to any Credit Card orders or requested via Paypal should that method of payment be selected.
 
It is a criminal offence to provide details of a Credit/Debit Card that are fraudulent or have been fraudulently obtained. If Posterworld Pty Ltd become aware of such practise, the matter will be reported in full to the relevant authority for them to investigate and pursue.
 
If you are using a Credit/Debit Card that is not in your name, by submitting your order you confirm that you have the Cardholders authority and approval to use the Card for the transaction submitted.
 
All prices quoted on our website include Australian GST. 
Refund Policy
 
We are happy to refund or exchange any poster, badge or sticker that has been damaged by Australia Post provided that you have advised us within 7 days of receipt of the damaged item. You must first obtain authorisation from Posterworld prior to any replacements being despatched via our Contact page. Any items that have been visibly damaged due to removal of the items from the packaging without care taken, with the exception of 'in transit' damage, cannot be refunded or exchanged.
 
The applicable Australia Post damaged item form must be completed and returned to us. The damaged parcel must also be taken in to your nearest Post Office so that they can verify the damage. Australia Post will not agree to compensate us for any damage that they have not witnessed or sighted. 
 
We regret that Posteworld cannot refund or exchange t-shirts if you change your mind or have selected the incorrect size, so please ensure that you have selected the correct size as per the table listed in the General Info section of the site prior to purchasing your t-shirt.
 
Overseas orders are excluded entirely from this refund policy.
 
Overseas Orders
 
We are happy to accept any overseas orders though we are unable to ship to all countries. Should your country be on our restricted country list, we will email you immediately. For all overseas orders, please ensure you select your country from our drop down menu in the Check Out stage of shopping.
 
Postage and Packing costs for all items posted through Australia Post via Standard Air Mail or Registered International Post will then be calculated using the following table. 
 
Australia Post advise that International Air Mail delivery can take up to 10 business days from the date of despatch depending on the destination country. Some countries may take longer.
 
For some overseas orders, you may be required to supply us with additional identification via facsimile or email prior to us being able to complete your order. If this is not possible, your order will not proceed.
 
Posterworld will not accept any liability for lost or damaged orders despatched to overseas destinations and will not provide free of charge replacements or refunds for any such items.
 
Posterworld also reserves the right to refuse to despatch orders to certain countries.

Items will be sent via Couriers anywhere within Australia and will usually be despatched on the next business day after your order has been placed.
 
In addition, due to customer demand we have been asked to enable the purchase of the ‘raw’ Memorabilia items so that individual customers can tailor their design to suit their particular requirements.

Each unframed item will be despatched by Receipted delivery within Australia via Australia Post or Express Post if requested. Overseas Orders will be sent via Registered Post International. We reserve the right to refuse despatch to some countries.

I Can't Find the Poster I Want
 
Whilst Posterworld obtains many hard to find posters and stocks posters that most retailers don't, there are licensing and distribution restrictions to what we are legally able to sell in Australia. This may be because the owner of the copyright to the image does not want the item distributed to Australia. As Posterworld does not deal in bootleg items, we may not stock posters that you could have seen on some other auction or shopping sites.
